@_Rodriguez34_@lizaboth You'll see deals like, "we'll take the three years and $70M remaining on aging Dodger star they want to move + maybe a top 10 prospect for an average $2M bullpen arm (that LA will cut)." The Marlins make salary floor, Dodgers jettison bad player and sign good. We all lose
@MishaWines97@CardPurchaser Topps ain't gonna replace it. My personal experience is their idea of "equal value" is not even close. I had a Lindor 2019 Archives 1-of-1 auto with a bad corner and they sent me a Robin Yount Rookie Reprint Auto #/125. Cool card, sucks the quality control stunk.
@JoeGoodberry The Bengals taking a high potential but injured player with a first or second would totally be within Tobin's Standard Operating Procedure.
@ByJayMorrison Bengals drafting is the real villain. Whitworth, Bates, and now Trey all walked. That wouldn't be a problem if the plans to replace them work out. If Stewart and Murphy step up big time next year - for much less than $30M/year - all is well.
