I’ve spoken to many photographers and artists since this happened, and an intellectual property lawyer who gave me more insight into what so many people THINK they know but misunderstand

Either way, I hope things change, not for my sake, but for the creative people who don’t deserve to get screwed over when they share their work. It’s one thing to not attribute, perhaps inadvertently, and another to be disingenuous like you said, especially when it’s not a tough watermark to spot. I’ve had to start putting them mid-photo so they don’t get cropped out 😂
