For our latest journal club paper we discussed a new and interesting way of investigating the rapeseed and stem canker disease interaction, by Jiquel et al. (2021) in New Phytologist. It shows great promise in the field of mechanistic quantitative resistance! #scicomm #plantsci

For this week's journal club we discussed an article about a cotton wall-associated kinase that mediates responses to fungal wilt pathogens by complexing with chitin sensory receptors.
