They adopted black robes instead of white ones, symbolizing their commitment to a darker brand of white supremacy.

Emerging in the 1920's, the Black Legion was the KKK's more violent offspring. The Devil's Bible

formally known as the Codex Gigas is a 13th-century manuscript of the Bible that stands out for its sheer size (over 3 feet tall, 1.5 feet wide, and weighing 75 pounds) and its unique content. The text is written in Latin on vellum pages, with the Old and New Testaments, along with several apocryphal books and a treatise on medicine.

Its nickname comes from the inclusion of a full-page portrait of Satan opposite a depiction of Heaven. The manuscript is believed to have been created in the early 13th century, possibly in Bohemia (now part of the Czech Republic), by a single scribe who may have been a monk. The story goes that this monk made a Faustian bargain with the devil to complete the massive work in a single night hence the "Devil's" label.

Despite its dark legend, the Codex Gigas is more notable for its historical significance than any overtly demonic content. It's one of the most well-preserved examples of medieval bookmaking and contains unique marginal notes that offer insights into medieval thought.
