Today we were really excited to explore our new core text 'The mess that we made'. We became fish and swam through the ocean with a range of obstacles, from nets to rubbish and we thought about what the impact was of the pollution in the ocean 🗑🚮🌊🦭🐢 @PrimaryElaine

Today we made equal groups by grouping items together. We discussed how we know if a group is equal. We then used this knowledge to make equal groups of 2, 5 and 10. 2️⃣5️⃣🔟 #grouping @PrimaryElaine

This week we used our computing skills to research facts about animals. We were very lucky to have year 5 come and support us with scanning a range or QR codes and finding out interesting facts. 🦒🦍💻 #computing #science @PrimaryElaine

Today we loved learning about our new science topic of animals! We explored the different groups and how we can know which animal belongs to which group. We also used our coaching skills to help our friends with their learning. 🦘🦎🦂🐁

This week in diamond we explored what foods were kosher. We found it very interesting what Jews were allowed to eat and why ✡🕎 @PrimaryElaine

Today we started our learning journey of length and height! We had great fun of trying to put the whole class in height order using the language : shorter, taller and longer 📏📐 @PrimaryElaine

This week we recieved a special letter from the secret giant! We were so excited to write back! But first we had to find out what to include in our letter, so we labelled the letter with all its features ✉💌 @PrimaryElaine

This week we used our computing skills to make a jamboard for our English lesson. We recalled what activities we do at home to help our families, so we could write them in a letter to the secret giant 🧹🧽 @PrimaryElaine

This week we practised our new tricky word game where one person says the word and the other person holding the word has to then spell it out. We loved it! 🧒 #trickyword @PrimaryElaine

Today we really enjoyed our science learning of investigating plants using our senses. We became touch and taste detectives 🍍🍏🍌🍊🥕🫑 #science #senses @PrimaryElaine
