👶🏻 Children and Family Relationships Amendment Bill 2023 Explained 👶🏻

Yesterday evening in the Dáil, this Bill, introduced by @ivanabacik on behalf of @LGBT_ie and @equalchildren moved to second stage.

The Bill sought to address some of the issues with the original Act like:

6️⃣ (3/5) and welcome the Government's acceptance of six of the nine key asks of the Bill. We have concerns that an impending General Election🗳 could impact the delivery of this but hope that @ministerdonnelly & Government will stand to their promise to LGBTQ+ families regardless
