But then there were huge figures in China in 1700s - 44.4 in 1743 - & now China is the most polluting country
By the current metrics employed by some, shouldn’t this mean that they should b getting even higher temps now?

Always presumed the seasons moved slightly over long period due 2 marginally ‘elliptical’ nature of celestial bodies, making it impossible 4 them 2 revolve around each other in same way each year…

@LozzaFox Hmmmm. It's not quite the same as when i was a kid though, Lozza. We used to have 'seasons' when i was a kid, and snow in winter.........now we get rain, and more rain, and then a bit of drought. I reckon there might be something about this climate change malarkey.
