In Church this morning, our Vicar, a usually quiet and reserved Priest, was viscerally provoked by the maladies and malaise of our country.

The often soft-spoken priest exploded into thunderous vitriol and vituperation about our government and the politicians.

He complained about how everything has gone berserk; from domestic issues to national concerns:
Food insecurity, life insecurity, bad politics and bad infrastructural issues, hunger, despair, indolence, etc.

The Priest lamented about the failure of our government to give the people something even as simple as hope. He bemoaned the thieves in our government and their impunity and impudent destruction of our country.

When the Vicar began to talk about the 20 Youth Corpers that were kidnapped and the helplessness of this government to do anything, the congregation broke down in tears.

As he spoke, it became certain to me, that our country has been besieged by anarchism and has become a dysfunctional and dangerous enclave to dwell in.

Our leaders have become a blight, and an affliction and a scourge to us all.

I left the Church in tears not only for the fate of those children in captivity, but for the plight of the parents and family members.

As it appears that our government is helpless and hopeless, it also appears that there is not a single answer to the catastrophe, and that no amount of any ingenious attempts of those who claim to lead us can resolve these problems of the cataclysmic destruction of our country.

I left the Church saddened and aggrieved by what our country has become.
As I said quiet prayers for those kidnapped children, I recoiled with the thought that thousands of other unknown stories of agony and pain are as we speak, befalling many others all around the country.

We are in deep trouble.

On July 15, 2025, they arrested him againthis time for trying to change his ID to match his faith.

The real reason: he left Islam.

His health is collapsing.
Medical care is being withheld.

His next hearing is October 21, 2026.

That date could decide whether he lives or disappears💔

This is not terrorism.

This is apostasy treated as a national-security crime.
