Equity Action was a joint action supported by the EU Commission in partnership with EU member states, regional and local actors, to reduce health inequalities.
To every one of you in the UK media who are now refraining from commenting on your creepy pals antics because of a long agreed, now outdated, press omerta.
You cowards. You weasels. You shameful no good creeps.
Your entire lives have been for nothing.
The 'game' is up.
9. UK Housing Market Inflation
It's the most unaffordable since Victorian times
93% inflation in 28 years:
In 1994, it was 4.4x the average salary
In 2022, it was 8.5x the average salary
Discussions I have had over the last day or so suggest that there is massive political reticence to consider nationalising water because this might increase the UK’s national debt and this, apparently, is a political taboo which prevents consideration of something so important.
This is incredible. Am due to do @bbc@politicslive today and I think Kate Winslet social media speech is on the agenda. But this is what we should be discussing if we are doing the BAFTAS surely ?
@zac_kahn95@mysockpuppetacc @slowbikeiain So why are they providing the service? Surely their shareholders would be saying “get out of this business and go and invest somewhere else where our profits will be busier”?
Nadine Dorries: Just because Channel 4 is in receipt of public money

2/7. Transposes inequality duties from 2012 Act to new bodies plus i) ineq needs to be in ICB annual plans, ii) NHSE will performance assess on ineq. Good, but as last time provision is 'due regard', this is weak and depends on implementation, lesson of 2012 was not sufficient.
Disabled people made up almost two thirds of the U.K. deaths from coronavirus. Millions others shut themselves in their homes for a year, losing incomes and mental and physical health. “Who do we not save?” I think we all know this Tory government’s answer.
Football is for EVERYONE. 🏳️🌈❤️
Some very honest words from @CarltonCole1.
“Did I make him feel comfortable to come out? I’m not sure I did.”

@chrischirp@SadiqKhan The UK is currently experiencing over 800 COVID deaths a day (seven day moving average).
To put that in perspective, that is more people dying from COVID every day than die from ALL forms of cancer and heart disease COMBINED
0.12% of the entire UK has now died from COVID.
I looked at London Covid admissions today & they made me cry.
We've been admitting a medium sized hospital worth of Covid patients EVERY day for 3 weeks.
KCL hospital is one of London's largest at 950 beds.
On 6th Jan we admitted 977 Covid patients.
What have we done?
The year draws to a close with a major difference in the success or failure of N Ireland and the Republic of Ireland in managing #COVID19 on behalf of their populations.
