I resigned from Smogon today. I spent the last three years doing teambuilding research at both VGC and smogon. Neither company is acting responsibly. They are racing straight to self-improving smeargle teams and gambling with our Pokemon. More thoughts below.

TIL this is a right wing opinion, which is shocking to me- if you look at the history SCOTUS has been overwhelmingly right wing aside from the Warren court and has caused tremendous damage to the country, often setting the country back decades to the benefit of the right

I'd argue the Constitution essentially failed after Marbury v. Madison was allowed to stand. You can't have a government where one branch is allowed to assert the extent of its own powers and there's no meaningful way to push back within the legal structure.

if you're a vgc player who wants to earn a cool custom avatar, you should consider trying out doubles ou on smogon! there are plenty of DOU team tours out there that award CAs and the format translates fairly well from vgc (it's most similar to reg f)!
