In my experience, changing a traditional industry takes more than just new technology.
It also requires disciplined processes, strong teams, clear responsibility, and the courage to question old habits.
I encourage you to read our latest article on Yahoo Finance. In it, we share how Chapter Renovation is working to cut the industry’s 77-week average for full-scope luxury renovations down to 38 weeks.
We do not sacrifice quality for speed. We have changed the renovation process so that our specialized teams can work together at every stage, from design and permits to buying materials and building.
With the arrival of AI, we now have a chance to make our work smarter and more efficient. Using Chapter RenoTech™, we rely on AI to help us schedule jobs, spot possible delays, and plan materials better. This helps us find problems early and keep our process clear and reliable.
Still, I have learned that even the best technology only works when you have a skilled, disciplined team and a commitment to doing the job right.
I believe homeowners should not have to accept long waits and uncertainty as normal. We are working to make renovation faster, clearer, and more reliable, and I am proud to be part of building that future.

In my experience, many renovation problems start well before any demolition takes place.
Often, these problems happen when homeowners choose a company just because of price, a good presentation, or a friendly personality, without really checking who they are hiring, what protections exist, or if the company has done similar work before.
I recently published a practical guide on the Chapter Renovation website:
“How to Vet a Renovation Company Before You Hire: A Homeowner’s Due-Diligence Guide.”
For me, trust in renovation comes from transparency and clear documentation.
Before signing a contract or paying a meaningful deposit, homeowners should verify:
• The exact legal entity behind the proposal
• The licenses and permits required for their specific project
• Current, project-specific insurance
• A detailed contract and clear change-order process
• A payment schedule tied to completed and inspected work
• Comparable references and a reliable permit history
I also discuss how AI can help by organizing documents, finding mistakes, reviewing contracts, and making it easier for homeowners to compare renovation companies.
Renovation is always complicated, but I have learned that careful checks at the start can save a lot of money and stress later.

In your opinion, what is the most important question a homeowner should ask before choosing a renovation company?

Happy 4th of July 🇺🇸
Grateful for the freedom to dream, build, learn, and begin again. Wishing everyone a joyful day with family, friends, and the communities we call home.
And as we celebrate America, let’s carry that same spirit, belief, and unity into the World Cup. Let’s go,😀 USMNT!
In my experience, every successful business starts with the belief that there is a better way to do things.
When I started Chapter, my goal was to make home renovation a clear and collaborative process, managed carefully from the first meeting to the last detail.
I am pleased to share this Brownstoner feature about Chapter and to explain the purpose behind what we are building.
With many years in real estate and construction, I have learned that a successful project is not just about the final result. It is also about the experience throughout the process: good communication, coordination, problem-solving, and careful work to turn ideas into real homes.
This is why, at Chapter, we bring together design, planning, project management, technology, and construction as one team. We want to give homeowners more clarity and confidence, and to create spaces that fit how they want to live.
I am thankful to every client who has trusted us with their home, to every partner who has worked with us, and to every member of the Chapter team for their dedication.
We are proud of what we have built so far, and we look forward to what is ahead.
For me, progress comes from making careful decisions, paying attention to details, and focusing on each home, one at a time.

roud to see Chapter featured by Compass Luxury in this spotlight on how we are helping redefine the renovation experience for the luxury market.
For real estate brokers, renovation is often the difference between a client saying:
“This apartment needs too much work.”
and
“Now I can see the opportunity.”
That is exactly where Chapter comes in.
We partner with brokers and their clients to help unlock the potential of apartments that need renovation — before the buyer walks away, before the seller discounts too heavily, and before a great property is misunderstood.
Our team can create:
Full design concepts and renderings
Real renovation proposals
Alternative layouts and floor-plan ideas
Budget guidance backed by real construction expertise
A clear path from vision to execution
And most importantly: we stand behind the proposal.
We are proud to work with Compass, Brown Harris Stevens, and many individual brokers who understand that today’s buyers need more than imagination — they need clarity, confidence, and a partner who can show them what is possible.
If you are a broker representing a property that needs renovation, or working with buyers who love the location but hesitate because of the work required, let’s talk.
Chapter can help you turn “needs work” into “this could be the one.”

Slightly Shorter Version
Proud to see Chapter featured by Compass Luxury.
For brokers, one of the biggest challenges is helping buyers see the potential in apartments that need renovation.
A dated kitchen, an inefficient layout, or an unfinished space can make a buyer hesitate — even when the location, building, and value are right.
Chapter helps bridge that gap.
We work with brokers and their clients to create renderings, renovation proposals, alternative floor plans, and realistic budgets that help buyers understand what a home can become — before they make the decision to walk away.
We are proud to partner with Compass, Brown Harris Stevens, and individual brokers who want to give their clients more clarity, more confidence, and more possibilities.
If you are a broker with a listing that needs renovation — or a buyer who needs help seeing the vision — reach out.
We can help turn potential into a plan.

The last two weeks felt like pure magic.
I watched my team, the New York Knicks, win the NBA championship after 53 years—the same number as my age. I got to live that moment with my kids, my family, and my friends, surrounded by a New York City that felt happy, alive, united, and full of joy.
Some memories are bigger than sports. They become part of your life story. This one was exactly that.
New York forever.
Go Knicks. 🧡💙

These two little cuties became young men.
Yesterday, my boys, my twins, Gur Arie and Maor, graduated from high school — and I couldn’t be more proud.
It feels like yesterday they were small kids laughing, playing, wearing their Knicks jerseys, and falling asleep side by side. Now they are standing tall in their caps and gowns, ready for the next chapter of their lives.
Gur Arie and Maor, I love you more than words can say. I am so proud of the people you have become — and so excited to see where life takes you next.
I wish you both happiness, success, courage, great friendships, big dreams, and beautiful new adventures ahead.
Always remember: I am here for you, I believe in you, and I will always be your biggest fan.
Love you both forever. ❤️

Last night, the NY Knicks won in the NBA Cup. For me, it was not just a good result. It reminded me why I first loved basketball, this team, and New York City.
The Knicks show what New York is about: resilience, grit, and always showing up, even when it is difficult. This is the same spirit I see in the city every day.
What made the night special was watching the game with my kids. We sat together, cheered for every play, and talked about the calls. These moments with my family are more important than the final score. I believe sports help us connect, teach loyalty, and share values with our children.
Basketball has always been important to me. The Knicks are my team, and New York is my home. Winning on the court and spending time with my family are the moments that matter most.
On to the next one. The big one! 🏀🗽💙🧡

⚽️ A Big Night for MLS — And a Great Reminder of Why We Love the Game
Tonight I had the chance to experience one of the most electric atmospheres in American soccer: the Eastern Conference matchup between NYCFC (my team) and Inter Miami, led by Messi and the star-studded Miami squad.
Yes—Miami took the win.
But honestly, it didn’t take anything away from the experience.
What we’re seeing in MLS right now is nothing short of a transformation. Stadiums packed, energy off the charts, families, kids, die-hard supporters… and global icons like Messi elevating the league’s competitive DNA. It’s a clear sign that American soccer is scaling fast and rewriting its own story.
From the pre-match buzz to the final whistle, the entire environment felt like the next chapter of the sport in this country—bigger, louder, more professional, and built for real growth.
As for me?
I’ll always back NYCFC, win or lose. But being part of this kind of night—seeing the league evolve in real time—is a privilege. It’s the same mindset we push for in business: continuous improvement, rising expectations, and building something stronger year after year.
Great game. Great crowd. Great future for MLS.
On to the next one.

Berry, with 40+ years on stage, was electrifying last night; proof that passion ages like fine wine. Watching a rock star I've followed for four decades was a masterclass, not just nostalgia. He elevated the hits with deeper energy and wisdom. It’s a lesson in business and leadership: true legends refine, evolve, and deepen their craft over time, embracing their journey and learning from missteps. Experience isn’t about aging but mastering. An inspiring reminder to keep honing your skills. Like wine, we improve with age. #LeadershipLessons #ConcertNight #PersonalGrowth #BusinessInspiration #Mastery #RockAndRoll #NeverStopGrowing #BetterWithAge #MusicIsLife
