@prayforthelost7@needGod_net It came to a point where I had a Christ-loving 9 year old son, of which I made ZERO contributions to bring to the faith taming his tounge and caring for me, to get me to start openning my eyes.
Yes my 9yo evangelized me. Praise the Lord.
@FrankLets78822 Grace is the fact that Jesus existed in history, breathed air, touched and talked to people.
God does not miraculously give people Grace, the incarnation is just Him being God.
So, we don't believe because of Grace.
Grace IS WHO we believe in.
4/4
@FrankLets78822 When we say God "imputes Grace" it's not the person that changes, it's a description of God being merciful.
We don't believe because God enchanted us with Grace. The fact that we have something to believe is Grace itself.

@Jacobionite@ProvisionistP God is moved without our influence and despite our lack of prayer, worship and obedience. When we pray, worship and obey, we align ourselves with our moved God.
@SoteriologyA1 *What God does not need {if we try to figure it out}*
and
*What He has done.*
are very different things.
One can be theoretically true, but we can never have a "God's eye view" to prove it.
The later is THE definition. Truth Himself.
You are reasoning from the former
@Electricepistle@AgainstAtheismX If you go deeper on this, the exact angle the water molecules align is from universal constants.
All the way to the bottom and all the way back in time, in the beginning is the Logos.
@Electricepistle@AgainstAtheismX And if you go deeper here, our concuisness is tuned to the biblical 7-day cycle.
6 workdays and 1 sabbath is fractal to the universe as well.
We can actually define a "concious day", generally, outside the solar system as.
1/365 planck units

@SoteriologyA1 "God is not a spectator sitting in a reactionary position, waiting to see what man will do."
That's a paltering view of:
The Good/Protecting/Rescuing Shepherd
The Waiting/Providing Father
The Vineyard Owner
The Banquet Host
The Joyful Finder
Wording reveals intentions
Of the 5 solas, my view is that:
Sola Gratia, Solus Christus, Sola Fide
must also govern
Sola Scriptura
so that we actually have Soli Deo Gloria
That is, Sola Scriptura is strictly for soteriological issues only to affirm Faith, Grace and Christ
Loosely for everything else
@Faithful2Pray@cjun_crazy A better way to look at it was what the Jews and Christians wrote is greater than Jews and Christians, because of Jesus.
What Moses/David/Matthew/Mark/Luke/John/James/Jude/Paul/etc wrote, is greater than themselves or the churches they wrote to, because they wrote about Jesus.
@Faithful2Pray Catholicism does not elevate the Bible above all tradition.
How can they give us the Word of God if they don't even treat the Word of God as the Word of God to begin with?
"Catholicism gave you the Bible"
"Catholicism gave you the Word of God"
"Catholicism > Bible"
This is exactly what Leviticus/Numbers/Deuteronomy is for I think.
To people with this soup, it readsike Gospel.
We are prophets and dreamers for ourselves.

Confession:
I took a leap of faith from being an atheist to Christian, so intellectualy I have this soup Christian and non-Christian beliefs.
That soup is a temptation to start a cult.
If you start out in life faithful, I think this is that call to be a priest or pastor.
1/
But since I have ~90% of my years as an atheist, I think this is what Muhammad or Joseph smith faced.
A call to lead carrying so much misunderstanding that you can't shed. Faith in Christ, and faith in so many other things that don't immediately present as counter-Jesus.
