ADVALUE Module 3 Field Visit โ ILRI Ranch
We visited the ILRI Ranch, its headquarters, fodder production research plots, and cattle breeds at the milking facility. The ranch also serves as a conservancy; we had the opportunity to observe wildlife alongside research activities.
Module 3 Field Experience
Today, participants enjoyed a guided tour of Eseki Valley Farm in Kajiado, Machakos, hosted by the farm owner. The visit offered practical insights into rangeland management and sustainable practices.
ADVALUE Module 3 โ Face-to-Face Workshop Highlights
The Module 3 workshop officially opened with remarks from Prof. Moses Nyangito (UoN), followed by reflections on rangeland utilization, grazing management systems, and emerging practices across regions.
