Click to view: Ice floe around the Point in Pittsburgh. The water is so cold that even the Monongahela (left side of photo) has started to form ice where typically is doesn't freeze over due to how fast the river flows as compared to the Allegheny. If you dig it, please share!
And now a few images of the brand new airside terminal, captured at the #Pittsburgh International Airport just before it officially opened this morning. It was amazing to be in the beautiful space while it was empty to capture these views.
Absolutely amazing night at the Pittsburgh International Airport last night, as I got to go behind the scenes to capture the closing of the old landside terminal and opening of the new one. These are images of the former, including the train, the last plane, and closing of TSA.
💛 Big news, Pittsburgh 🖤
The new PIT terminal opens Nov. 18 — marking a new era of travel for our region.

Back to some snowy scenes from last week in #Pittsburgh and that beautiful sunrise from the West End Bridge. The great thing about this spot is that trains come pretty frequently, and you can always see them in time to compose your shot. Love that burst of sunlight too.
