FFN's bill tracker makes it easy to monitor bills that affect the care, education & healthy development of #Nebraska's young children. It updates bill information in real time from the #NEleg, so you can stay current on early childhood policy discussions. https://t.co/hSQb04Ujso
Relationships are everything, people are everything. In everything I do I am standing on the shoulders of giants. I hope to one day be able to nurture, support, and empower young teachers in the same way that Iβve been supported.
Iβm feeling very grateful for my job, my team, and the school I teach at! Environment is everything in education and I have one of the, if not the, best leadership teams in the district. Our school is amazing! Because of the people in it!! #iteachprek#opsproud@OPS_Highland
I met my current principal when she was one of the instructors in my teaching program and she has guided and mentored me for my entire career, even when I wasnβt on her staff. Now I am an instructor at that same university and I hope to follow her model of excellence in teaching.
Big garden day in Pre K! We transplanted our bean seedlings from their sprout houses to carton pots so students could take them home, and some new friends moved into the garden! We used our new hallway feature to identify pollinators! So fun! #iteachprek#opsproud
We had so much fun today! We planted flowers in our class garden, harvested some wild dandelions to make jelly, and had a mini Star Wars party! May the fourth be with you! #iteachprek#opsproud#maythefourth
The fastest way to become very popular at pre k recess is to hold a beetle πͺ²!! So fun to connect our study learning to little critters on our playground! #iteachprek#opsproud

Today we celebrated Earth Day by beginning the germination process with bean seeds! Friends also designed their own bugs at Art Center!! πππ #iteachprek#opsproud
New reads! I will be incorporating more AI strategies this fall in EDU 204 Tech for Teachers! AI is such an exciting and fast moving area of EdTech, and practicing gratitude is at the core of my being, as a human and as an educator. #iteachprek#opsproud#adjuntinstructor
Schools with positive team culture have people who root for others' success. They view themselves as a team not competitors. An individual success is the team's success. Next week look to Celebrate team!

Did you get to pet a kangaroo and honk a recycling truck horn today? Pre K friends at @OPS_Highland did! Thanks so much to @WastelineOmaha for demonstrating how all the truck mechanisms work and @WildEncounters2 for sharing your incredible animals! #iteachprek#opsproud

Elementary educator @garrisonshan told her students a story about her cats, and asked them how much food the cats would need during an upcoming trip. Unbeknownst to the students, they had their first lesson about mixed numbers. https://t.co/qxgE7wFv2k
