It’s morning in Canada.
A mother steps on a government needle at her child’s playground.
15 Conestoga 'students' in a dimly lit Brampton basement wait their turn to use a single bathroom.
A little old lady on a fixed pension in the sticks opens the mail to a $300 carbon levy for heating her home.
A young man on a subway spots a violent schizophrenic hassling disassociated commuters. There are no police to be found. He wonders if he steps in, will he be shamed? Will he go viral?
A commuting family of four, on a debilitating variable rate mortgage for their 900 sq. foot semi that cost $950,000, wakes up to another car stolen.
A janitor at a Hebrew school scrubs "from the river to the sea" off the front windows for the third time this semester.
Mark Gerretsen hits send on a tweet that totally owns Pierre for using a similar adjective as Donald Trump. His constituents don’t see it, because they’re living real lives. A few of them wait 16 hours in the hospital for supposedly urgent care.
The rest of the Liberals, and many 'Red Tory’s,' continue to respond with the same old 2015 playbook, failing to realize the tipping point has already happened. There’s no going back to luxury beliefs when it’s this bad.
It’s actually broken.
Destroy them accordingly. Take back what you can.
Anyone else miss the pre-Trudeau era when hosting a summer BBQ didn’t require a financial planner?
You’d throw a bunch of steaks on the grill, put out a cheese tray, invite friends over, and never think twice about the grocery bill.
Now we’re told this is the new normal.
Mark Carney says Canada can’t be restored to the nostalgia of yesterday.
Fair enough, I give up.
Officially searching for a country with new cheese…. Now accepting proposals from other nations.
@JayGenXer@Tosca58861695 I saw a mom say “Survival Math” & it really hit me. On the bank app trying to figure out how much can be spent on groceries but leave enough for gas & kids school trips til payday. Thats survival math. 10 yrs ago I could load up my grocery cart np and afford it. Same jobs. F Libs
🚨 CANADIANS ARE BREAKING DOWN ON CAMERA
And it’s truly sad that social media is now flooded with regular people falling apart like this.
This guy and his wife pull in six figures. They’re “lower upper class.”
He just left the grocery store and he’s sitting in his truck, emotional:
“How are people making $60k, $70k, even $80k a year fucking surviving in Canada right now?”
He’s struggling to pay for groceries.
$5 broccoli.
Strawberries that rot in three days.
“Something’s gotta change… this isn’t sustainable for anybody.”
These aren’t the “poor.” These are the people who are supposed to be doing okay.
Liberalism did this.
The cost of living crisis they created, the inflation they ignored, the policies that crushed productivity and drove prices through the roof — this is the result.
While they lecture us about “climate” and “equity,” real Canadians are in their cars after grocery shopping, breaking down.
This is what a recession looks like when it hits normal people.
If you’re feeling this too — you’re not weak. You’re awake.
Drop your breaking point below 👇

Mom’s 89. Been in Canada for 69 years and has paid every tax, been an upstanding citizen and scrimped and saved to buy a house in Vancouver that, thru none of her own doing has increased insanely in value. She survives on less than $40k annually and pays 25% of that in property taxes. She has been denied Canada Dental Plan, GIS, and every benefit for which new immigrants are eligible. She has no extended health benefits.
Now they wanna cut her OAS?! 😡
Under PM Harper...
Q1 2015: -0.8% annualized GDP
Q2 2015: -0.5% annualized GDP
Bank of Canada: "Yes, Canada meets the technical definition of a recession."
Under PM Carney...
Q4 2025: -1.0% annualized GDP
Q1 2026: -0.1% annualized GDP
Bank of Canada: "Two negative quarters of GDP alone should not be used to define the state of the economy."
The Globe and Mail is now running opinion pieces about cutting elderly benefits because Canada faces “crippling debt.”
Perfect.
Not cut bureaucracy.
Not cut consultants.
Not cut foreign aid.
Not cut corporate welfare.
Not cut the Liberal spending machine.
Not cut the political class that created the debt bomb.
No.
Cut grandma.
That is how this always works.
Trudeau, Freeland, Carney, and the Liberal Party help bury Canada under debt.
Then the establishment media starts preparing Canadians for the “unpopular” solution.
The people who built the mess never pay.
The elderly get handed the invoice.
Canada was robbed by incompetence.
Now seniors are being told to sacrifice.
Brilliant system.
As we are gradually forced to reduce spending/services to pay debt servicing charges, the people who happily voted for unsustainable government largesse will discover the error of their ways.
If your lifestyle is currently propped up by "benefits' - get ready.
Can anyone explain to me why elderly Canadians should have their social benefits cut before bogus refugee claimants and temporary workers/students who refuse to leave?
I have my issues with Boomers but they are Canadians and Canadians should be coming first.
Too many Canadians are hanging on by a thread, going into debt just to pay for food and rent.
Sign to take all Liberal taxes off food so paycheques go further and buy more affordable food: https://t.co/OMNHYH16yg
This is exactly what making Parliament work looks like - all hands on deck for ideas to solve the economic crisis in this country. I hope the Prime Minister @MarkJCarney responds positively. We should never forget that almost half the voters chose @PierrePoilievre and support his ideas. They also want to help make the country prosperous.
It was recently found out that Carney spent almost $200,000 dollars on inflight catering for 3 trips. Thats 11 years of groceries for a family of 4.
The same guy went live on TV & told Canadians that we will need to make sacrifices & that his Government was going to cut waste.
I guess it didn’t apply to him.
Canadians freaking out about hockey and their fragile egos being shattered but completely silent about getting railed by taxes and 3rd world terrorists flooding your neighborhoods.
Bread and circus for the stupid. 🤦🏼
NEW: The new Canadian Office of Indigenous languages spent $10 million hosting a four-day conference in Ottawa in 2025.....triggering an audit.
It has a similar production cost, per day, as a Taylor Swift concert.
Carneys failure to deliver on his single most important promise is shrinking the Canadian economy.
Carney will be the first installed banker to bring a nation into depression.
Both my drivers to the airport this weekend (Toronto, MTL) were driving because they got laid off from good jobs. One had a PhD in engineering, the other had a mid-level data science role
Neither layoff seemed tariff-related
🇨🇦’s poor economy has a real human cost
SHOCKING
Under Mark Carney’s Liberals, 74,000 REJECTED asylum claimants are entitled to taxpayer-funded luxury health benefits while the Canadians paying the bill are not.
This includes REJECTED asylum claimants ordered removed and listed as "wanted".
This madness must end.
