What makes OKC especially infuriating is the wild disparity in how they’re called on both ends. You can’t lay a fingernail on SGA, but you have players like Lu Dort who can commit war crimes and not get whistled for it
SGA is what everyone accused LeBron of being. A foul grifter who isn't trying to finish at the rim. This is terrible for basketball and he's going to win back-to-back MVP. 🤦🏻♂️
"LeBron James is still going and he's doing it at the highest level..
He's 41 years old and he's looking like a top five player in the NBA" ~ @KendrickPerkins#PMSLive
“Anthony Edwards doesn’t give a s*** about selling calls. He’s there to go through you. I love that about him.”
@getnickwright says it’s refreshing to see a young star who isn’t foul-baiting every possession
"He and Marcus Smart were sensational defensively. That's hard for old guys! Old basketball players can still score, they can't defend. LeBron was very very good."
@colincowherd reacts to LeBron leading the Lakers to a game 1 win over the Rockets
This game ended in the first 6 minutes of the 2nd half when LeBron tortured Sengun in the pick and roll repeatedly and played him off the court.
28-8-7 for the oldest guy in the league to go up 2-0 in a series the other team opened as a -800 favorite.
Impossible.
Folks wondering why I didn’t tweet about the LeBron game Saturday…
Well, I said this NINE YEARS AGO TO THE DAY about folks taking LeBron for granted.
For more than *20 years*, all this guy does is show up for the playoffs & do things we’ve never seen before.
This most underrated player Todd Monken has ever been around?
Stetson Bennett.
"I underrated him...I tried everything I could early in his career to not play him."
"The first year year we won the national title in 21, we won with him...in '22 we won because of him."
Yes.
There’s no getting out of the A Gap. And if you don’t consistently prepare for the A Gap —you will get your shit rocked.
Here’s some unsolicited advice that you can throw in the trash if you want.
Separate into 4 buckets:
• Self
• Wife
• Family
• Career
In my experience —if I’m not able to compartmentalize, my brain will feel scattered and a slow rage will build from internalizing
Then ask yourself what you need and want from each bucket. (For me, I got into a cycle of managing every bucket except for self —and then overtime I start to become shit for all of it because I hadn’t taken the time to figure out what I’m needing/wanting so that I could be intentional.)
Then you get with your wife and communicate because she could have (probably has) a lot on her mind as well
Just know that nobody is coming to save you —and that it’s all reflection, teamwork, and action

Someone on the internet was outside of UGA’s practice fields today…
Sounds like Georgia’s 6’7 freshman TE (Elyiss Williams) blew up transfer EDGE Amaris Williams on a run play. Kirby Smart made sure everyone knew he saw it.
Rite of passage for Amaris
