Let’s goo!
Timo is a really cool guy. He vibe codes a SaaS that helps with posture at work and back pain.
He wanted to develop it for a while but couldn't code. When he discovered Cursor, he immediately started to realize his idea.
He has been running niche sites as a side hustle for a long time and therefore has good SEO knowledge.
Thanks for the interview, @Dad_Preneur! And I hope you finally ship your SaaS soon!
Today's MVP progress—made huge strides:
- Dashboard & Navigation – Recovered Daily Planning & Explore, moved settings under profile icon
- UI Improvements – Removed challenges from the dashboard, resized Today’s Activities, moved stats from the timer page to the dashboard
- Bugfixes & Optimization – Fixed tool stats, database loading issues, and database structure for user tools
- Database Cleanup – Removed hardcoded text from tools and replaced with DB variables for a single source of truth
- Stripe & Auth Fixes – Improved Stripe checkout logic, fixed login redirects for localhost
Getting so close now!
Now i will test the alpha-version of my app in the following week at my main job and see how it's running and what to improve.
Today, I streamlined my MVP and deleted several files and code.
I got tempted to add cool features and make everything perfect. Rolling back and refocusing on what truly matters!
Now focusing only on the key features.
Pro tip: Focus on the core function. Don’t add features too early. They’ll only cause headaches, even if they’re not active yet.
My biggest mistake when building the MVP:
As a former blogger and frontend developer, I spent way too much time perfecting and updating the landing page instead of building and validating the MVP.
Maybe it’s because I’m solving my own problem, so I’ll build it no matter what?
Still, validation should be the priority.
The timer in the dashboard feels stuck in place.
Lost count of how many prompts I wasted trying to remove it and fix the resulting errors... 😩
New approach: prompting ChatGPT for Cursor. Maybe this will finally works

@TomOesterlund For my actual project @ergonomify, I’m deeply driven by my own experiences with discomfort at work. Knowing how small changes can make a big difference in well-being keeps me motivated. I want to help others feel better, move more, and truly thrive in their workspace :)
Fixed it and finally pushed the last commits with @Netlify to main branch that are live now at https://t.co/dbzkVXTigR 🎉
1. Updated Features in Pricing sections + footer fixes
2. Backend linked with frontend, bugfixes, waitlist counter & beta spots increased
3. Added waitlist, disabled CTAs, fixed slider, login button integrated

Another lesson learned:
Multilingual support (German) keeps creeping in. Next time: stick to English and launch with only the essential features.
Daily planning feature added. Automates the day with ergonomic tools and recommendations.

He’s on the right track: a standing desk is a great start. To prevent neck pain, a monitor with an adjustable monitor arm for proper height is key.
Regular movement is also crucial to avoid back pain.
That’s where Ergonomify helps: with reminders and a personalized daily plan
My minimalistic workspace
I’ve never had a proper desk before. I always used to work in the kitchen or in bed (my eyes and back say hello).
Astonishing how, nowadays, simply having a laptop can change your life.
Made great progress today:
1. Created the database for ergonomic tools and integrated it into the frontend.
2. Advanced the profile assistant for onboarding.
3. Polished the main feature, the timer.
It’s all coming together! @ergonomify 🚀
Finally did some bugfixing at @ergonomify to commit the latest changes from many dev-days to @Netlify (have to do this more often).
Changes I've committed:
- updated the waitlist counter to 9 spots already booked
- crafted the basic backend
- linked backend with landingpage
How much and often do you commit?
