this whole chapter with saki cutting her hair, letting go of all that her past left behind in those strands and, maybe, the societal expectations surrounding who she’s supposed to love. i think either way, it might lead towards a right redirection away
i like how kanon is not afraid to voice her boundaries around everyone, but especially saki. it’s honestly so important for her to know where she stands and how she wants to be understood
i noticed too how she mentioned that she’s only like this with saki (so firm on her boundaries) bc she knows she will understand 😞 it’s devastating how she had to deal with such blatant ableist remarks enough for her to be so cautious
