@dbrauer So of course rent can be cut independent of property tax since they are separate, but also property tax is a direct occupancy cost for the tenant

@dbrauer As an added caveat/context, most retail leases the tenant pays rent at a fixed rate and the RE taxes (among other costs) are paid by the tenants above and beyond rent.
