@ThatsSoVillage Opening bowler’s boots fell to pieces mid over. Had to swap with his dad who has the same sized (enormous) feet. Dad had come to the game in flip flops so the only thing he had available to wear was his steel toe capped work boots, which he fielded and bowled in 😂

@jackalbion96 I get that the London games (closer to Brighton) are a bit of a lock out, but Newcastle, Villa, City all great away trips. Couldn’t get an away tkt for Emirates in the league (though did go) but was in the away end for the Caribou game. It’s def doable even with low points.

@Brightonian_ Think this read is supported by the fact that it took the inclusion of Milner in the midfield with Gross to arrest the slide and turn the season around. Baleba, Ayari both excellent but needed that experience and nouce in there.

@Brightonian_ Bottom line is 6th was in our hands and we blew it. We’re lucky to have European football at all, much in the same way as we were really unlucky not to get it last season. Ultimately, 8th and Europe in a season where went 13 matches without a win, is a pretty decent result.

The big problem with this World Cup squad is the left field picks are dull. Not picking Palmer but taking Dowman would be left field but exciting. Taking Burn not Shaw or Hall is left field but boring. Heaps pressure on Tuchel and the team. He now has to win it. #worldcup
