@kalanoros@Mimiiben1 How does one get 8? The answer is clearly 5. Is 8 coming from doing the square root of 81 rather than the square root of the square root of 81? I ask because I truly don't understand. Are people looking at the double symbol and assuming it's one?
@Gm69855648@unclebobmartin You're making two assumptions that generally aren't true. 1) there are requirements - and a PowerPoint pres doesn't count and 2) the requirements that do exist are valid which is often not the case.
@renabaddie_ First let's simplify. When 2 straight lines cross opposite angles are the same. That leaves us with a right triangle so the other two angles must sum to 90. 90 - 40 = 50.
@Notwokenow In the tech industry it isn't about cost it's about availability. Too many kids going to university and coming out with useless degrees and a growing trend is US kids coming out with Computer Science degrees and not knowing a thing about programming.
@beauhightowerdn@RealCandaceO I find it unlikely that they have the person take thier shoes off so just over 5'10" is probably too tall depending on the shoes. Sneakers about right, loafers well nobody wears those anyway, dress shoes (aka normal shoes), then under 5'10".
@davidfloro@ConstitustionX That's the one of the most asinine things I ever heard. A legal name change has paperwork. Your saying I should be able to fly overseas without showing my passport simply because I have one. Most people get thier license before 18, either 16 or 17 depending on age.
@CrucialN@farman4x I am always surprised on these basic math problems how far I have to scroll to find the correct answer, and it is always shown with work (because that's how one shows the solution to a math problem). I would have also included this to show order of operations:
12 + (6 ÷ 3) × 8
@adammit35891312@sylateral@EricLDaugh It's not made up, it is however exaggerated. Jail time and arrest is very rare and mostly, if not exclusively, related to diesel engine emissions tampering. What is valid is the illegality of repairing your own vehicle, particularly in California.
@ElaraNovax The error is the word "error" because there is more than one error. February is spelled wrong, missing months, missing letters, September should be "i", and the months after should be j, k, l. But ultimately it is the question in error.
@llandoniffirg 18, unless you count a word processor typewriter as a typewriter then 19. I purposefully never had an AOL account. I remember when the AO-HELLERS first came online back before the web; the days of Archie, ELM, Veronica, and chat boards.
I'd have added BBS to the list though.
