@lucyhargreaves4 I dunno if you’re 17 points off, you might want to take another peek at the methodology, unless you’re happy with polls that confirm your biases.
Municipal elections are cool. Not just saying that because my preferred candidates won, but they make so many decisions that affect our daily lives. Direct democracy rocks, and I’m thankful to live in a place that respects it. Still, we need more people to vote!
Tonight, the people of Toronto have spoken.
And you have given me the extraordinary honour of continuing to serve as your mayor.
I am grateful. I am humbled.
And I am so proud of our city.
@foolishyangban He started out a very different person than what, I think he and some other advisors, made him into and so it didn’t feel authentic. I hope the same for him, and do believe people can change. Jeromy Farkas in Calgary is a good example of this.
That’s the nicest thing I’ll say probably lol. Genuinely dont like the guy but at the end of the day he’s a person with a family and kids and im sure he will be just fine.
Good, gracious concession speech from Bradford so far. Anyone who has worked on a campaign knows how tough this is, and you can’t deny that he worked hard, literally for years, for this job.
Looking like it’s going to be a relatively progressive council. Smart of Chow to have built a team around her, which helped everyone GOTV in a big way.
Chiara Padovani is going to unseat Fran Nunziata, the longest serving member of council. She came so close last time and worked hard for four years and the people of York South Weston have spoken. A well deserved W, I think she will serve them very wells
