@TheSquatch13@sirDukeDevin She didn’t say parents though? She said grandparents. Trumps grandparents weren’t born in America which would make him ineligible under her premise and other than Tiffany Trump all other children have mothers born outside the US which would also make them ineligible
@xxLuckyTiger@Morihaus_FGC@cturnbull1968 Ok but you framed your response as if they were taxing 90% of someone’s earnings in total. They weren’t so I was clarifying that they taxed a much smaller portion of someone’s earnings at 90% which is very different
@cyron879@FlindersJimmy@Pardon_Me_Again@cturnbull1968 Their companies are not their wealth. All of these companies are publicly traded companies which means he doesn’t own it and can’t just sell it off. Their wealth comes from their salaries, bloated bonuses, and stock options that they’re able to leverage without selling
@xxLuckyTiger@Morihaus_FGC@cturnbull1968 The top tax rate being 90% doesn’t mean 90% of their earnings was taxed. It’s a progressive tax system. In that case it was the equivalent of every dollar over 4.5m was taxed at 90%
@APLMom@RisingUp2026 If only he wouldn’t keep insisting his face appears on commemorative passports, currency, and creating his own nonprofit to oversee everything instead of the congressionally approved one then people might consider that to be the case. He’s using the 250th to make it about himself
@NNeidballa@sarahadams@WonderfulBrandy If it was non partisan than Trump should have nothing to do with it. It should be a celebration of our country and not celebrating the president. Putting trumps face on a $250 bill to commemorate makes it about him
@CS_Mon25@Marc_Kenyon@UziCryptoo No a CEO salary who has billions usually keep their salary just under 1 million and a lot of their salary comes from bonuses and stocks. They then borrow money with the stock as collateral to have actual cash without ever selling the stock. So they have billions and their assets
@ShashiJairam@SaltyGoat17 You realize your tax dollars pay for this trolling right? Like instead of him doing something useful to improve American lives that people might actually respond positively towards, you’re excited about him wasting time to troll people?
@theedubwill@CarlosP95095856@SaltyGoat17 It’s a good thing while grocery prices are still climbing, mortgage rates are still high, and gas prices are still averaging 4.60 a gallon that Congress is focusing on the important things that will improve the lives of every day Americans..
@OPistolpete@TheSmart1onX@johnnyTee60@TravistyStudios@SaltyGoat17 He never cooperated with the fbi. His name is in there one time in regards to a phone call with police saying he threw Epstein out of his club after Epstein was already arrested. He was named in the files thousands of other times apart from that though
@JohnFidler54169@Oswald1066@snixon5523@SaltyGoat17 You’re saying 26 people were able to convince thousands to break into a federal building and chant that the wanted to hang the vice president? Either those 26 people have super powers or those thousands are too gullible to be allowed to function independently in society
@insanetranslate@kamikazecash@mitchellvii@LttleGel You can’t just make a business seasonal. If you’re not in an industry, which are very limited, that can be seasonal then you can’t just shut it down for extended periods of time because the market will move to a competitor that’s available year round
@insanetranslate@kamikazecash@mitchellvii@LttleGel That’s great but again, not what the guy was talking about. He said he was shutting down his company for the rest of the year after making his 2 million. You keep changing the argument to something else entirely and focused on seasonal businesses which isn’t what he said
@dyip96@kamikazecash@mitchellvii@LttleGel Your made up scenario doesn’t matter since in actuality their research is costing them 1 billion and is making them at least 5 billion considering their profit margin
@insanetranslate@kamikazecash@mitchellvii@LttleGel You realize all those companies also have distributors, truck drivers, an entire support system around the factories that make it possible for those products to be used and purchased around the world. If you shut down the company that all stops and people stop buying it
@insanetranslate@kamikazecash@mitchellvii@LttleGel You seem to keep misunderstanding what the man said. He literally said he would shut down his business. If Tesla shuts down that includes factories, dealerships, mechanic shops, shipping routes, everything
