Us old farts sure had fun this weekend. Went 3-0 and captured the ‘Ship defeating a trio of townball teams. Not bad for a 30+ year old team taking down 19 and 20 year olds. Will be icing our knees forever…

Welp, we went ahead and won the damn thing today.
Defeated a Central Valley League combined squad 4-2 to claim the 2025 Clearwater Tourney Championship.
Hendrickx and Cole Lambert combined pitching.
Down a couple guys from yesterday so Iron 9’d it. Fun games. Great Defense.

Not too many guys say they got to win their last baseball game of the season. But the Iron 9 took down the friendly competition at the 35+ Hickory Tourney the last couple weekends and won The Ship last night.

Our guy Nate gets DRILLED by a former MLB pitcher’s fastball and struggles to make it down to first base. Couple pitches later as Nate is still visibly hurting, Tonka pulls the hidden ball trick on him lol. Hats off to Tonka, they definitely wanted to win the game more.
