What President Trump did last night concerning federal aid is violent and violates the Constitution that our soldiers have fought and died for. The President is trying to seize your taxes and threatens the programs that millions of Texans use every day. In my district, funding for doctor's appointments, childcare, medical research, and transportation are frozen. The Trump White House and Trump's hand-picked group of billionaires are breaking the law. I know the president is a felon but the law must be followed. We must fight for the American people. Congress must work together right now and protect the American government as we know it from becoming a dictatorship.
