@avianca Crazy that you can book a direct flight, but stop in a completely different country. This stop isn't a layover, and you're supposed to stay on the plane, even if everyone else gets off. Interesting (derogatory) process. AV655 IAD -> SJO stuck in GUA.
@SpiritAirlines I literally said the gate agents were very helpful and nice despite the flights being cancelled. Yet this is not the type of service you wish guests to receive? I'm confused.
@SpiritAirlines The gate agents at SJO, Maynor and the redhead woman I didn't the name of, were able to help out and re-book alternative flights. Very helpful and nice!
Y'all can still suck it for cancelling the flight though.
Now that we're in the knockout stage, it's also atrocious that you can win an elimination game via penalty kicks instead of actually playing the game. It goes from an 11 person team winning the game to a series of 1v1 deciders.
It's disgusting how the World Cup, the biggest and most prestigious sporting event in the entire world, consistently has the worst format. The event takes place once every 4 years and uses round robin with ties in the group stage?
Additionally if you are ahead in your group, round robin with ties can also encourage teams to play "not to lose" instead of "playing to win". This reduces the competitive integrity of games played.

It's unbelievable there are hypothetical scenarios where everyone in a group can tie games with each other, and then the winners of the group are decided based on goal differential and other factors that do not involve wins or losses.
I reverse engineered mcdonald's internal api and I'm currently placing an order worth $18,752 every minute at every mcdonald's in the US to figure out which locations have a broken ice cream machine
