2) Inventory overages (near term profit focus sku reduction)
3) growing # of emerging brands that have gone big at WMT and are not performing
But I'm still bullish on the opportunity for brands

There is also a entire mini series to be made about Walmart building out private label products to support diversity and inclusivity initiatives. Their Juneteenth ice cream was just the pilot episode for this onion (cringe) -worthy mini series.

@jordanweitz_23@jurhyu Branding, total consumer experience, channel strategy, partnerships, mission, credibility/expertise, are all great ways to help drive differentiation and help reduce risk of losing share to PL.
@jordanweitz_23@jurhyu Its really hard to hold true IP in CPG categories. The more commoditized a category is the more likely PL is or will become a massive competitor for small brands.
