Sunday's Weather Rating: 9/10
Glorious weather returns, with high temperatures in the mid 70s, manageable dew points and a light breeze. Partly sunny skies early will give way to increasing clouds at times later, but otherwise the vibes are VERY good today!!
Soon... full moon!
The next full moon will light the night skies on Sunday, May 31. If you've ever wanted to take a great picture of the Moon, check out our Lunar Photography Guide for tips and tricks: https://t.co/wp8uMt6pVP
Happy Birthday to the queen of the Midtown East skyline 👑🏙️
The Chrysler Building opened to the public on May 27, 1930, and nearly a century later remains one of NYC’s most iconic architectural landmarks.

🌧️WETTEST MEMORIAL DAY WEEKEND IN 78 YEARS?
I did a ton of look back this morning and when you look at the ENTIRE holiday weekend as a whole, this could end up being the wettest Memorial Day Weekend since 1948.
🌧️ On May 30, 1948, Central Park recorded 2.49” of rain followed by another .06” on Memorial Day itself. If NYC officially tops 2.75”+ of rain this weekend, it would rank as the wettest #MDW on record.

7:30pm: Heavy thunderstorms continue across parts of the NYC Metro, but will begin to shift east towards Long Island. Steady rain will continue for the next half hour or so before beginning to wrap up from west to east.
#MentalHealthMonth reminds us that struggles are often invisible. Life can humble you, challenge you, and test your strength in ways people never see. If you’re struggling, keep going. And if you’re doing well, check on someone who may not be 🙏💚
