@lynna_listens 1. No two people are the same
2. Humans in general aren't particularly sexually dimorphic. The gap between the strength of an average male and average female is smaller than the gap between the low and high end of male strength across the population.
3. There's still differences.
@CraftyCatDad An electric nail file is fantastic for newborn baby nails, and much less nerve wracking than baby nail clippers, so that's where I would start I think.
For everyone making rainbow treats for Pride, mix the colors in this order and you don't have to wash the bowl in between:
Yellow
Orange
Red
Green
Blue
Purple
My 2.5's enthusiasm for her half birthday presents, in ascending order
6- New stickers ("why'd you buy me these?")

2- Munchkin bath letters
1- "Pops" aka the plastic pillows that come in the Amazon box.
@CarissasNewLife I don't know. Childbirth wasn't fun. Not something I would recommend as a good time. But it wasn't actually that bad? Like I've had some killer period cramps that hit on the same pain scale and I didn't get a baby after those.
And once you're done, you're done.
I wish Instacart was a little more transparent with how much it adds to the price of each item so I knew exactly how much I was paying because I don't want to go to Costco on a weekend.
@JustCall_MeJo Young kid, I could see myself taking the cake and saying we needed to ask their grown up about it, since I don't know allergies, food policies etc.
But telling them it wasn't for them??????????????? Why go out of your way to ruin a child's day for absolutely no reason?
@KnittingWyrd I would start with a hat to make sure you like the technique before signing up for a project that is miles and miles of the stitch.
But I also find rectangular scarfs intensely boring, so ymmv 🤷♀️
I don't know why parents complain about reading the same book. I love it. Book is memorized, performance decisions have been made, 100% on auto pilot.
Sure kid, let's read Daniel Tiger bath time for the 100th night in a row. It's a beautiful night in the neighborhood.
@abby_e_o My toddler has watched so much TV since her little sister was born.
She's also gone to the park a lot, been to the zoo, cooked with me, built towers, read books with us, cuddled and learned to interact with her sister.
Screen time is a tool, and it's never the full picture.
@peycarterauthor@adamfare1996 When you stop wearing diapers, you still have to pee, and wrestling a one piece on and off is still hard.
That said I'm into long sleeve ready guards and shorts for all genders for as long as they are tolerated. Tankinis are also a thing.
