Investors do not provide billions of won based on a stack of historical internal settlement sheets from a previous agency. They pay advances based on binding contracts for future deliverables that the current entity is legally responsible for producing.

The actual allegations raised in the PD Notebook investigation concern something else entirely.

Testimony from individuals associated with 100RED, INB100, BPM and related entities claimed that funds secured for future activities using artists’ IP were allegedly not fully used for those activities.

Instead, substantial amounts were reportedly routed to the chairman’s personal account, and affiliated companies allegedly did not receive sufficient funds to operate normally.

This has nothing to do with EXO, current members, or SM Entertainment. The artists involved are victims in both cases. This should not be overlooked.
