@shingetaro That’s okay! I agree with your opinion on how we might think it SHOULD be but that’s how it works. A lot of the law is semantics and words are very important.

@shingetaro But we can all agree upon the meaning of the the words “stop” and “no”. And if those are unclear, the court would look in a dictionary. Because we have as a society agreed on the definitions.

@shingetaro It would first have to be ESTABLISHED that the parties have agreed that “strawberry” has a completely different meaning that we are not familiar with. It will have to be PROVEN that it means “no”. The accused can say “it only means strawberry”.
