A week later and I’m still obsessing over the Point Hardy course at Cabot Saint Lucia.

I think it’s probably the best course by Coore & Crenshaw since Friar’s Head opened 22 years ago, and given their output, that’s saying something.

It’s as dramatic and as fun as any modern course I’ve ever played.

But it seems this Rule 36 entered the thought process as a ‘best case but pretty unlikely’ scenario, and now that’s it’s in fact very unlikely it’s seen as a negative?
