@KenyaPower@KenyaPower_Care, have now hung up on me three times. Our power is out while we are hosting a party and technicians came and said they resolved the problem. Our problem is not resolved!
Many Christians today have traded following Jesus for re-creating a tame, moldable, silent jesus who is made in our image. We are His image bearers. Not the other way around. Understanding and believing this distinction radically transforms the way we live and how we serve.
If we feel the need to compromise to attract people, then we will definitely have to compromise to keep people. This can be dangerous in the church, in business, and in relationships. Donβt compromise on Truth. Hold fast to what is good, right, and honorable. #Philippians4:8
Leading from a position of power is far less effective than leading from a position of trust. When trust is strong, people will follow because they want to, not because they have to. #Trust#Leadership#StrongTeams@BlueSky_Kenya

βThereβs a difference between having good intentions and being intentional.β-Britt Sims. What we actually do is far more important than what we hope to do. Hope is not a strategy. Being intentional implies purposeful action. We need more leaders and followers who are intentional.
@treymskinner@jt_english I completely agree with everything you shared. I was using the same language of the original post for ease of response. I do believe what I shared still applies to conservative or progressive theology. Even theological conservatives are moving down the river.
