Why hasn’t AI turned into folding at home yet?
Why doesn’t my OpenClaw spend some idle time and pay for its own electricity cost by running inference for some pool of paying customers? https://t.co/ANFDQgFc8p looks like a solid first pass at this idea - anything else out there?
@andrewsharp and @benthompson banter was at 11 out of 11. Thanks "Alexander" I am very much with Ben, but I enjoyed hearing Andrew's feeling of victory - like watching a little brother score their second 3point shot (ever) over an older brother.
@DallasTexasTV City of Dallas uses Flock Security Cameras. Might be worth some citizen journalism to make sure that we can at least be spied on with good passwords from the city.

It’s always fascinating to me that we want to make strides in “alignment” w/ humanity & cybernetic partners, yet Americans really struggle with alignment within federal, state, county, & city government projects. See: TSMC in AZ, see NIMBYism, see book:Abundance, see Co River Rts
When Bill Clinton argued to add China to the WTO in the 90s - the main argument was so that we could export American Culture… I wonder if he he counts this as a success : see artist “Skai Isyourgod” a Cantonese / Memphis rapper.

As you age, the threshold requirement to feel nervous excitement moves up, while at the same your ability to do things that exceed the threshold decreases.
When the lines cross, you are “mathematically old”

Final AI black box biz model:
Here is my budget, build a thing that meets these requirements.
Front line resource allocators seem to be a natural aggregation point.
Out of context from @goatnbapod in a belly laugh of a section “on top 5 candy”
> “Do you have a God tear candy?”
>> “I really feel you are describing heroine, so no! No I do not have a God tear candy”
😜🤓😝
And now thanks to Kevin, I now have two problems. I can still hear the weigh in, and this woman thinks I want to hear it.
Should have listened to @CaseyNewton !!!!
Deepest apologies if I swapped your positions.
I just tried to pull a @kevinroose move. TLDR: it back fired badly.
A woman sits a few chairs over from me at lunch and starts loudly watching something on her phone.
Thinking, oh I know what to do, I will very loudly ask, “Hey what are we watching?”
Then after being so noisy, she will turn the volume down on her phone or put on headphones.
But no. That works for Kevin. Not me.
She proudly says my nephew is doing weigh-in for an MMA fight… conversation ensues
Granted, Spotify, et al, have really impressive tech teams, but, IMHO, their major contribution to society was getting labels and the-artist-side to swallow a new payment plan - where checks are pro-rated share of the monthly money pool.
Could "Limewire" have charged $10/mo and then allocated a % of all subscription revenue to artists to pay for their downloaded songs (presuming you pay higher for a song down load than stream) ?
