Christians captured by partisanship, worldly ideology, and identity idolatry will give you 101 reasons why despising Christians on the other side is acceptable (ie they’re so evil).
All 101 of those reason are lies.
“As I have loved you, so you MUST love one another.” -Jesus
This is the foolishness of the culture war in a nutshell. We’ll despise one immoral thing and defend another based on our desire to choose a side. I’ll pass.
We’re not about getting it right, we’re all about the fight.
When I hear “why go play in a meaningless bowl” I think about Will Muschamp watching his walk-on QB son play in one.
Sports are wonderful. I’d give anything to go back & play one more game. You only get a few of them.
But ND stuck it to ESPN, amirite?
Georgia won 29 straight games, lost by 3 on a bad call to Bama in the SEC title, got dropped from 1 to 6, and instead of bitching and moaning about refs and committees they went and laid a 63-3 beat down on FSU in a game where all of their healthy draftable players played
Look where UGA is now and tell me it didn’t matter. How you do anything is how you do everything. If your core program traits only matter when things go your way then they don’t actually matter. Notre Dame just told their players it’s okay to quit when things don’t go your way. I think it will have negative consequences on the immediate future of the program
@tycade52@uncle_rico__ Not the rule. The whole ball has to be inside the outer most part of the pipe. Over the pipe is good as long as no part of the ball is outside the pipe.
I never thought raising men to be men would be a problem. Maybe, it was Anthony Mackie’s phrasing on the “Death of the {American} male” that ruffled feathers, but I raised my son to be a man too.
Genesis 2:15 states, "The LORD God took the man and put him in the garden of Eden to work it and keep it".
A man is supposed to provide and protect his own. Now, masculinity & femininity are into energies which aren’t specific to gender, but I want my son to he the man of his household.
He should sacrifice to care for his family, & he definitely shouldn’t ask his wife to go check on the loud sound outside.
If he’s raised right he’ll know he isn’t always right. He’ll respect a woman’s body, mind, & spirit while making sure she gets to live in the energy she chooses. I could be wrong too.

@therealmccaw I don't think this was incorrect at the time. My guess is he saw a very weak RB class and decided to take a chance. With this class and a strong pro day he could move into a late 2nd early 3rd round pick. Another year wouldn't change that.
