“If the young don’t start now, when?”
Ideally we have a balanced squad with enough experience to offer those youngsters guidance and competition so their transition to first team environment won’t be too much of a shock while they still have room to grow. But that takes time
It’s funny how so far within this transfer window there has always been a cheeky option of sneaking in a young player like they’re gonna save the day (Pesquer LB, Cortes LCB, Hamza ST). Again, unrealistically high expectations on youngsters will do more harm than good
❗️Three options for Barcelona if Balde leaves the club:
1. Sign a new left back as backup to Cancelo
2. Moving Gerard Martín back to his natural position, signing a new centre back
3. Relying on the young Jordi Pesquer

@ruliashino Italy and Germany has been shitty in recent years otherwise I wouldn’t be surprised if there’s an European country share the title of the team winning the most WC. And from the 3rd star to the 4th star for Argentina? Will be a long and arduous journey
@bbhfault Right? Many people keep giving him a platform to spread lies despite everything that has happened then act all surprised when he’s outed. It starts from them why are they complaining 😂
“So Romero was wrong” of course he was, has he ever been serious about accuracy? People should have had it figured out by now that Romero is a mere puppet and what he tryna spread is more than just personal agenda. Notice how it’s always shifted onto the players? Think about it
🚨🗣️ “Alejandro Balde and Casado both expected to leave Barcelona. For Balde, it is not necessarily the player who’s been pushing to leave, but Balde could take the opportunity if the club decides to sell him” @FabrizioRomano#Transfers 🇪🇸
People need to avoid herd mentality and practice thinking in binary instead of looking at things in black and white. Saying “If Flick doesn’t rate Balde (which is wrong on its own btw) then he needs to be sold” is just proof that you don’t have a thought on your own. Do better
It’s not about stanning players, it’s about seeing their abilities and potentials as well as accepting that the club officials aren’t immune to mistakes. Acknowledging a management error or raising concerns over a squad building choice doesn’t mean you’re disrespecting the club
2 weeks ago it was Ferran Torres FC, last week it was Frenkie de Jong FC, this week it’s Balde FC. I can’t relate to all of you, I’m Barcelona FC, I don’t stan any player 😂😂
@bbhfault They think they’re the one deciding everything 💀 I hope Latinos never stop standing up against their stupid prejudices. They need to be put in their place
@bbhfault It’s incredible how they know nothing about the world yet they still make it this far in life. Perhaps being stupid actually helps in their environment
Over the past 4 years there has been a constant smear campaign against Argentina just because they kept winning everything. Every tournament was suddenly “rigged”, every referee was “helping Argentina” and FIFA was accused of doing everything possible to make Argentina win.
The funny thing is that since then, FIFA has actually done the complete opposite.
Messi was robbed of one of the clearest Player of the Tournament awards you’ll ever see at a World Cup. Now Paredes gets a ridiculous 10-game suspension, while Borja Iglesias got nothing for punching Cristian Romero in the face. Jude Bellingham slapped Valentín Barco in the back of the head and nothing happened. Dani Olmo called Argentine players “fucking monkeys” and again, no real action, Ayala was punished for reacting to his words.
For years people were desperate to push the idea that Argentina were protected because they were winning. But when Argentina are the ones getting treated differently, nobody cares.
You can hate Argentina, you can be tired of seeing them win, that’s football. But at least be consistent.
@urn1231 Donna’s problem is while he makes a lot of incredible saves, many of those saves happen because he makes errors previously. Think of it as you create a problem for yourself to solve 😂
Most Barca fans are fueled by cognitive bias. Balde has always been good for us since his debut.
Injuries, specifically hammy injuries has been his only hurdle which is a factor for his downsides within certain seasons.
You cannot expect a 22 year old to make an insane leap in terms of development especially as a defender.
Cules had no problem comparing him to Mendes, who’s a Lamine level talent at fullback just for the sake of personal interests “agendas”. The hatred rather emerged since Cancelo’s arrival who’s also another gifted baller with many many years of experience.
