@moseskagan You posted recently that when debating the order of ‘making money’ vs ‘doing good’ the optimal choice is money first. The same principles apply here. Buying a primary home first can stunt your ability to grow wealth, which you’ll need if you want to do good for your family.

@BarryRoland19 There’s a self sufficiency guideline for 3-4 unit FHA loans where 75% of the rents need to be able to cover the full PITI. So unless there’s more to the story/distress, sounds like an underwriter forgot to check that box.
