DISCLOSURE DAY might not be for everyone, but it was definitely for me. Spielberg at his most thematically rich, Janusz Kaminski at the top of his game, Emily Blunt at her peak, and John Williams returning with a vengeance. Spotty VFX aside, I found so much to love.

Adrien Brody did not use AI for his performance in The Brutalist. The post-production team used AI to pitch-correct a couple of lines (one scene in a 3 hour movie) where he spoke Hungarian. We don’t have to keep doing this in 2026.

#TheBrideMovie is too much of a good thing. Lots of really cool ideas are introduced, with not a ton of follow through. Looks gorgeous with two unhinged (complimentary) lead performances, but I really wanted a bit more. Hildur Guðnadóttir is still the best around
