A small piece of NASCAR history lives on. 🙌

This car was an RYR intermediate nationwide chassis that was intended to race K&N after being rebodied but never made it to the track again. After hearing it would be scrapped I picked it up and went to work on it. Decided to turn it into a purpose built show car for our partners and fans. It’ll make its debut in the fan zone this weekend at Tri-Cities. Pretty sweet if you ask me!

I’d love to know more history on it. If I had the chassis number, who/where could I look to find out where this car has been? I’ve heard there’s a group of folks out there that track these older chassis quite extensively. It’s got the original RYR chassis stamp and KHI logos throughout on a lot of the hardware. Other than that, I have no clue where it’s been or who drove it. Would love any information anyone could provide.

It’s currently May. After next weekends race, the ARCA West Series won’t have another oval race until September of this year.

Out of curiosity, what other tracks/series only give you a singular lap in qualifying?

First time for me here at Wenatchee and I had zero clue when I rolled out to take the green. Guess I need to listen a little better in the drivers meeting.🤦‍♂️ Got some work to do now. 🔜

@Capn_Designs Haha, nice work man! I really like it. For the record, I just simply can’t afford to pay a graphic designer everytime I need a graphic. I make 99% of our inhouse without ai but in this case, it saved me when I didn’t know how to create a render. Great (and free) tool sometimes!

Kyle Busch was instrumental in the design of RCR’s stylized No. 8 and it has become synonymous with Kyle and an important symbol for his fans and the NASCAR industry. @BadBert13 Sorry to hear that, man! I was diagnosed with an autoimmune disease a couple months back that wound up being the cause of the chronic back pain I had been dealing with for about 5 years or so. Now that we’ve got some answers, it feels like life’s done a 180 for the better.🤙
