My views reflect those of smart people I know, good books I've read, convincing arguments I've heard, then considered; then I share. I love polite disaqreement.

Excellent article, @uberliner .
I abandoned NPR almost 15 years ago when I started to notice a lack of curiousity. Sure, they asked a few questions, but then they quickly answered them in very predictable ways.
If you already know what the broadcast is going to say about any subject, there is no need to listen.
We think there was fraud
"Prove it"
We'd be happy to. Please give us access to the actual ballots so that we can do a voter by voter audit of the counties in question.

We think there was fraud
"Hahaha! You still spreading that misinformation? You have never been able to prove that there was fraud! "
@JLPtalk I cried out to God this fall.
Literally fell to my knees weeping.
My life hasn't been easier since then, but I handle the tough things better.
...and move out of the cities.
A 30 minute drive from the edge of town where you might work is more than a day's walk for anybody that might want to do harm. Taxes will be lower, crime drops, government interference in your day-to-day is nil.
I raised my kids in a suburban neighborhood, 8 minutes from work. Once in college, I moved 35 minutes from my job: I traded 1-to-1 a 2700 sq/ft home in a suburban neighborhood for 1200 on 5 acres, pole barn, creek, LP backup generator, wood stove, chicken coop, well water, backs up to a stream. the few neighbors we have are friendly, but also want to mostly keep to themselves.
It is glorious.
@TRHLofficial As we have watched all this escalate for the last 15 years, I keep asking: "Do they *really* want vigilantes? Because, this is how you get vigilantes."
This is what masculinity looks like - carrying your family out of a burning house, and waking up in the ER a couple days later happy to know they're alive.
Could you have done that?
Would you have had the strength and the mindset to put yourself in harm's way?
This is what men should aspire to be.
