@VitalikButerin This monetization process could be tweaked (corrupted) for gain. Meaning, distributing info (or not) for monetary profit created an untrustworthy platform. Once that began, the corruption of the public information stream was inevitable. We are all influenced by corrupt info.

@VitalikButerin I agree with a lot of what you stated. But the public perception issue you've addresses is likely of a much wider scope than you've addressed. We now have a culture where corporate media can't be trusted. The "news" reports are only consistent in having an agenda or obvious bias.

Google search is the great equalizer for research. Their search algorithm, after all, is essentially a very complex MATH equation that churns out optimized results for all search inquiries, generally without bias. A good tool for sifting through agendas and opinions for research
