Now it's time for the full experience.🫡
@naigallyy@RinoTheBouncer nah they hyped gears, Asha herself promoted that ish all over socials
Such a failure, I need her to shut that studio down and just give gears to Activision 😂
@naigallyy@RinoTheBouncer I have game pass and bought the $30 premium upgrade.
The problem was what the studio did to the game and the criticism that came with it was to big to ignore.
@XBOXTIMDOG Asha is so firm on the Xbox Exclusivity.
I’m all for that.
But the coalition needs to go, still so many problems with the game.
I still want gears to succeed, I’m hoping for a 2-3 remake.
Gears of War: E-Day reportedly cost over $500 million to develop, excluding marketing.
A source familiar with Xbox’s business says the budget exceeds earlier reports of over $400 million.
Alinea Analytics estimates around 230,000 copies sold in the first week, generating about $37 million. Microsoft has not yet released official sales or player numbers.
A PS5 release probably wouldn’t have solved the problem. Gears of War: Reloaded sold 684,000 copies on PS5, which would have added roughly $33 million in revenue for E-Day after platform fees.
If true, the studio is cooked, Asha is coming for them.
To the people complaining about SBMM….
You switched to NZ and are playing with all pros and sweats right now lol.
What did you expect?
Hold your complaints until the game officially comes out for the rest of the world.
