His car said 25 miles to empty.

By the time he finally pulled into a gas station, he had driven 85 miles after the dashboard said the tank was dead. He went in expecting to stall within 10 miles. Instead the car made him look like an idiot.

His conclusion: the range meter is not a fact. It’s a warning designed to scare you into filling up early.
