I've been hearing a lot about ai alignment issues lately. I've noticed this myself: especially right-side alignment! A simple prompt to frame some text in ascii art proves very difficult for all models tested. And had to argue with ChatGPT that ascii art is NOT an image! #ai
@LilithBlack25 Ok - I guess lots of it escapes to unfathomable depths and gets locked away in rocks. Possibly more than all of the oceans combined. But there are processes that bring it back up to our level eventually...
@LilithBlack25 Yup - that water you're drinking was in my toilet! But yeah - that's why it's confusing when they say we need to conserve water. It's not going anywhere! I know some water escapes earth's gravity (as hydrogen molecules) but it's a tiny amount compared to how much is in the oceans
If you live in Texas and can choose your electricity provider, make sure you shop rates every year or so. TXU was charging me 21¢ per Kwh PLUS a $70 Oncor fee. I switched to Varsity for around 7¢ per Kwh which INCLUDES the Oncor fee. Will save $1200-$1800 a year!
@timel9379 I was trying to figure out what kind of PC that was. But "Because the scene is completely generated by artificial intelligence, the hardware is not a real production model." Looks like something that was around in the mid 90s...
@Microsoft This was accomplished by creating a Windows install USB boot drive, but NOT booting up with it and instead just running the setup.exe file on the USB drive from within Windows. #WindowsUpdate#WindowsFix
It's not so much that ppl suggested using Windows Update to repair Windows due to Windows Update failing to install Windows updates. But that I actually believed it might work! <smacks self in head> IDIOT! So, of course, Windows Update failed again triumphantly! WTF @Microsoft??
@Microsoft In case anyone else is having a similar problem with failing Windows Updates (Win11) I finally figured out that there was a major mismatch between the OS version and the core servicing system engine. Thanks #Gemini! Had to force an In-Place Tool Engine Alignment.
#Google#Gemini warning: If your browser chats get too big, besides slowing everything down plus taking 2 full minutes to load, answers will often be incorrect. Tell Gemini to give you a summary to start a new chat and delete the original long chat.
Words of wisdom by Tony Romo: "You just got to get the ball to the guy who is correct, versus the coverage you're going against."
Not a Chiefs fan so I don't have to listen to Romo every week, but I'd still take him as an analyst over Brady any day.
