Also love the way @steveyedlin answers questions of needing higher resolution for "future proofing" with:
"As far as future technologies go...one thing they're not working on is new human eyes..."
There is far more outrage from tech leaders over a wealth tax than masked ICE agents terrorizing communities and executing civilians in the streets.
Tells you what you need to know about the values of our industry.
It was a pleasure having the visual effects and sound supervisors from the hit Apple TV+ series #Severance join us for the latest ILM Filmmaker Forum this week.
Special thanks to Jacob Ribicoff (Supervising Sound Editor / Re-Recording Mixer), Bob Chefalas (Re-Recording Mixer), Eric Levin (VFX Supervisor), and moderator Michael Coleman.
@FilmUpdates Actually, the opening scene of Severance Season 2 took about 6 days to film over the course of 2 months (over the course of 7 months if you include all the pre-production planning).
Hard to believe I joined this website 15 years ago; just before it became "the future state of unlimited interactivity and a global marketplace for ideas, goods, services, and opportunities". How lucky.
@JeffSchogol It was hours, not minutes. Likely Nat’l Guard as military equipment shown was old. Also, the last thing the filmmakers made before this movie was the TV show “Felicity”.
