@london4congress@Rajatsoni I disagree. I think there is a lot of room for China's currency to dominate and for the US to fall to number two but not totally collapse. It could take another 50 to 70 years for hyper bitcoinization
@Rajatsoni Yeah, I definitely had a good number of people early on talking about how the initial gains would plateau for a little bit and then we will see a hyperinflation event at some point. But it is going to take a long time.
@TheGuySwann Is there a way to generate a seed phrase (including the checksum last word) without using any software? It feels like the math is really hard. Is there any tutorials or suggestions? I hate thinking that I'm always relying on software that I truly can't audit and verify
@itscoachgoodman I mean.... What about if your safety deposit box was drilled?
I don't know if there's that many people that take all the risks that seriously. They are kind of rolling the dice on the risk curve.
@notgrubles There were a lot of people who talked about the risks of trusting just one hardware wallet company with your Bitcoin.
This honestly is just so awful because it was coinkite.
Risks come with multisig too. But it feels like it's forcing me to do multisig at this point
@dotkrueger I used a 2 of 2 with a coldcard and a second wallet.
I consider my funds safe. But I'm not going to lie, this shakes my faith in my own understanding of my custody.
It's been a long time since I really educated myself on multisig
@Diditaihuttu If you use a 2 of 2 quorum multisig with one coldcard and 1 other wallet, Do you have any exposure? Can the attackers determine anything?
@AdamSimecka@Amac_IV@jackmallers A hole that is easily identified by the mass population when system inflation sucks them dry.
I think USDT is definitely more of a bridge than a trap
