Dean Brinkman, 59, great townball player & Sleepy Eye athlete, died after heart surgery on Labor Day. Dean had been lead organizer for next month’s Centennial celebration of Babe Ruth having played w/ traveling team in Sleepy Eye on Oct. 15, 1922.
