I don’t believe the sword in Matthew is a literal sword.

There are other tools to use if war is off limits. Pacifism doesn’t mean inaction. You can defend without engaging in war.

@DPGBehler It’s in quotes because as a Christian, I read the Bible Christiologically. If it doesn’t line up with Jesus’ teachings, His words get priority. Revelation is full of allegory, but my favourite part is where John hears a lion, but turns and sees a lamb! Not all is as it seems!
