In July, I called on the Senate to advance the Clarity Act — a bill to establish a comprehensive regulatory framework for digital assets and upgrade our ability to prevent bad actors from exploiting these critical technologies.
When the Senate returns from August recess, I strongly urge everyone to remain at the negotiating table, agree to the motion to proceed, and continue the legislative process. Failing to do so would send a troubling signal to our allies and adversaries alike that America is unwilling to lead on the future of digital assets and willing to forgo enhanced national security tools to combat their misuse.

Interesting little EY breadcrumb trail around @telcoin that I find interesting.
Start with Paul Neuner.
Congressman Mike Flood’s office recently mentioned in Paul’s Flyover Fintech bio that Paul previously founded the Internet application development department of Ernst & Young Technologies.

Then you start looking around and EY keeps showing up.
Telcoin Japan and EY ShinNihon were both participants in the Japan Cryptoasset Business Association NFT Business Subcommittee. They both appear in the official 2022 participant list.
https://t.co/NwDMW4M08I
EY also has a pretty interesting position inside that same association when it comes to stablecoins. EY ShinNihon’s Chikara Adachi is Vice Chairman of the JCBA Stablecoin Subcommittee.
https://t.co/9YYe4yGlzk
Another one I found was Bradley Margol. In 2025, Telcoin LLC brought him in as a Payment Expert to look at stablecoins at point of sale, prepaid cards versus stablecoins and debit card processing. Earlier in his career he worked at EY as a CPA.
https://t.co/tRdFMbDpso
Then there’s Kevin Garcia at EY. He has reposted Telcoin’s MWC26 activity and also the GSMA stablecoin paper that highlighted Telcoin’s Ricardo Pires.
https://t.co/K2QPlf0dPG
EY Financial Services Senior Manager Bhavik Patel has also interacted with Telcoin banking content, including material featuring Telcoin Digital Asset Bank President Patrick Gerhart talking about banks and stablecoins.
https://t.co/FfLG4CTdC7
And now we have EY Senior Manager Timur Akhmetzianov directly mentioning Telcoin alongside OpenReserve, Augustus National Bank and Erebor in a post about tokenized banking, programmable settlement, liquidity management and real time treasury.
https://t.co/Q6oTvPtIGJ
You can even go back to 2018 and find EY Global Innovation Leader Paul Brody and Telcoin Marketing Director Yacine Farouk on the speaker roster at the same Blockchain Unchained conference.
https://t.co/z4c8JnDwP7
So we’ve got Paul’s own history with Ernst & Young, Telcoin Japan sharing industry groups with EY, a former EY guy later doing payments and stablecoin work directly for Telcoin, current EY people following Telcoin’s banking and stablecoin work, and now an EY Senior Manager specifically putting Telcoin into the conversation around the next generation of tokenized banks.
EY is one of the “Big Four” accounting and professional services firms in the world. In FY2025, it reported about $53.2 billion in global revenue and more than 406,000 employees across 150+ countries and territories.
Could be nothing. Could be something.
But EY is one I’m keeping on the Telcoin watchlist. ethereum:0x467bccd9d29f223bce8043b84e8c8b282827790f
@disruptivintent@telcoin Everything has been laid out in the council meetings. 💯

Staten Island man struck by lightning while walking to a dentist appointment.
Thomas Fahmy says he is grateful to be alive and went to church on Sunday to thank God for giving him another chance.
"Once the lightning bolt struck me, the initial sensations that I had throughout my whole body were completely unprecedented; tingling, numbness, pain, just I feel this burning sensation."
"No burns. I had multiple body exams; no burns at all. I went to church on Sunday to say thank you, God."
@Telcoin filed a provisional patent in July 2026 for a stablecoin smart contract with embedded depository functionality explicitly merging payment stablecoins and deposit tokens into one on-chain dollar that stays inside the banking system instead of pulling liquidity out of it.
That matches the model the BIS chief is pushing (tokenized bank deposits over standalone stablecoins). Telcoin already operates as a Nebraska-chartered digital asset bank issuing $eUSD tied to actual deposit accounts.
🚨BREAKING: The bank owned by 63 central banks says stablecoins are NOT real money.
The Bank for International Settlements says stablecoins are not credible for payments at scale, with its chief pushing tokenized bank deposits instead, per Reuters.
He still admits stablecoins could lower US borrowing costs, while warning dollar tokens threaten other countries' control of their own money.
Nah the whole point of Telcoin is they didn’t try to fake institutional trust with another generic stablecoin. Only GSMA MNOs can validate the chain, eUSD comes out of an actual Nebraska-chartered bank tied to real deposit accounts, reserves sit in FDIC banks and T-bills. That’s literally the tokenized deposit model BIS is calling for.
